Mahzar

Mahazar:
Mahazar means petition or pronouncement, declaration or an opinion.

In September 1579, Sheikh Mubarak drafted and issued a Mahazar signed by leading Ulemas, Sadr-us-sadur and other Muslim law experts declaring Jalalu din Muhammad Akbar as amir-ul-momin and a Imam i Adil over and above Mujtahids (Qazis and Imams).

V. A. Smith called Mahzar drafted by Sheikh Mubarak and issued in September 1579 as an Infallible Decree by Akbar. Now this interpretation is not accepted.
