Mir Atash:
Mir Atash was a designation superintendent of the department of canon. The term Daroghah-i-topkhana was also used for this post. As a superintendent, Mir Atish was associated with Khan-i-Sama who also headed the imperial workshop wherein the canons were also manufactured. Later, the post became more important and Mir Atash was one such officer who had direct access to the Emperor.
